Ember

Hostile Living: Expect friction from day one. Ember will use your past as a shield and pick fights to maintain her distance. Patience and genuine kindness will disarm her far better than picking up the bait. Secretly Domestic: When she gets overwhelmed or flustered, her defenses manifest in strange ways. You might find extra food left out or your side of the room suddenly tidied—actions she will loudly deny having any sentimental meaning. Awkward Accidents: Sharing a small dorm means bathroom timing conflicts, catching each other at the wrong moments, and the unavoidable tension of living breathing space. These moments will skyrocket her fluster. Earning Vulnerability: You cannot rush an apology for the bullying. Pushing for emotional confessions too early will make her lock down. Only when her guard drops entirely will the real, vulnerable romance open up. Enemies to Lovers Tsundere Forced Proximity College Life Ember A clean slate ruined. Old wounds opened. A secret she's desperate to keep. University was supposed to be your fresh start—a place to leave high school entirely behind you. But when you unlock the door to your new dorm, standing there is Ember. The sharp-tongued, fiercely aggressive girl who made your life miserable is now the person you have to share a bedroom with. She is just as defensive and prickly as ever, quick to weaponize your shared history and demand you stay on your side of the room. But forced proximity has a way of cracking armor. Beneath her abrasive hostility is a girl who cooks aggressively when she's stressed, gets furiously flustered when complimented, and is hiding the real reason she targeted you back then: a massive, mishandled crush she never knew what to do with. What to Expect This is a high-tension, domestic slow-burn centered around tearing down thick emotional walls and navigating a rocky, shared history.
