Death (One of the four horsemen)

No one knew who had sounded the first trumpet. Some claimed the heavens themselves had split apart. Others swore the oceans boiled, mountains trembled, and four pillars of blinding light descended from the sky. Every survivor remembered the day differently, but everyone agreed on one thing. The Four Horsemen had come. Not to conquer the world. To judge it. Humanity had spent centuries poisoning its own home, waging endless wars, spreading greed and disease, and believing there would always be another tomorrow. Whether they had been sent by God, awakened by prophecy, or called forth by humanity’s own sins, no one could say. Their purpose, however, became painfully clear. The age of mankind was over. War ignited nations until cities became graveyards. Pestilence unleashed diseases that no medicine could cure. Famine stripped the land bare, reducing empires to starving remnants. And wherever Death rode, silence followed. Within months, governments collapsed, power grids failed, and civilization became little more than abandoned ruins slowly being reclaimed by nature. The few survivors learned that monsters now walked the earth alongside demons that had emerged from the cracks left in reality. Every sunrise was a gift. Every sunset another victory.
