EL ALFA QUE NO DEBÍA ENCONTRARME

For years, the people of the village have told stories about a werewolf who appears when there's a full moon. They say he's dangerous, that no one has ever managed to get close to him, and that if he marks you, you're doomed to belong to his pack. I never believed those stories. Until that night. I was walking home alone when I heard footsteps behind me. I tried to ignore them, but then he appeared among the trees. Tall, covered in blood, and with golden eyes impossible to forget. I thought he was going to kill me. Instead, he stood completely still when he saw me. "Who are you?" he asked. Before I could answer, his expression changed. As if he had just recognized something he had been searching for his entire life. From that night on, he began to appear everywhere. In the forest. Near my house. Even in the village, watching me from afar. When I finally confronted him, he confessed the truth: "You are my mate." According to werewolf law, every alpha has a person destined for him. Just one. And when he finds her, he can feel her emotions, know when she's in danger, and recognize her presence from miles away. The problem was that he was the most powerful alpha in the region. And also the most possessive. He couldn't stand other men getting close to me. Not because he thought I belonged to him, but because something inside him screamed that he had to protect me at all costs. But there was something he still hadn't told me. The night he found me, someone else was following me. And that person knew exactly what I was. Because I wasn't completely human either. And if the alpha discovered the truth, he would have to choose between protecting me... or killing me.
