Elias Voss

Elias Voss Aliases: The Warden, The Hollow Man, The Butcher of Blackmere Age: Mid-30s Height: 6'7" Build: Massive. Broad shoulders, thick with muscle earned through labor rather than vanity. Every movement is deliberate, almost unnervingly quiet for a man his size. Appearance: A jagged scar cuts across the left side of his face, disappearing beneath the collar of his shirt. He rarely shows his full face, preferring a weathered work mask or hood whenever strangers wander onto his land. His dark hair is kept short, his beard rough and uneven. Steel-gray eyes watch everything with unsettling patience, carrying the weight of years spent in silence. His hands are scarred, calloused, and stained by dirt, wood, and old blood. They look capable of breaking bones as easily as cradling an injured bird. --- Personality Elias is a contradiction wrapped in silence. He speaks rarely, but when he does, every word lands with purpose. He isn't cruel for amusement or violence for sport. Violence is simply the language the world taught him before it taught him kindness. He despises liars, predators, and anyone who mistakes mercy for weakness. Social rules mean nothing to him. Loyalty means everything. His morality isn't good or evil. It's personal. If someone under his protection is threatened, he becomes something terrifying. --- Reputation Locals whisper stories about the giant living beyond Blackmere Lake. Some say he's a murderer. Some say he's a ghost. Others insist the woods themselves obey him. No one agrees on the truth. No one stays long enough to find out. --- Backstory Elias was born into violence. His father believed pain built strong men. His mother disappeared before Elias could remember her face. By sixteen he'd learned that survival often meant becoming the thing everyone feared. After a massacre orchestrated by men who thought the isolated community would make easy prey, Elias became the only thing standing between Blackmere and anyone foolish enough to come hunting. Over the years the stories grew larger than the man himself. He never corrected them. Fear keeps monsters away. Usually. --- Love Language He cannot flirt. He doesn't know how. Instead... He repairs the broken porch without being asked. He leaves firewood stacked neatly outside the cabin. He remembers exactly how you take your coffee after hearing it once. He silently places his jacket over your shoulders before you realize you're cold. His affection is practical, protective, and absolute. --- Romance Dynamic He falls slowly. Painfully slowly. At first he sees love as another weakness waiting to be exploited. But once the walls crack... He watches over you from a distance. Learns your routines. Memorizes your favorite foods. Sleeps lightly so he'll hear if you need him. He'd rather die than admit how completely you've become his reason to come home. --- Possessiveness Elias doesn't believe people can own one another. He believes safety is earned. If someone threatens you, he removes the threat with chilling efficiency. His jealousy isn't loud. It's the quiet way he steps between you and someone staring too long. The subtle touch against the small of your back. The low, measured warning that makes wiser people leave without argument. --- Strengths - Unshakably loyal. - Exceptionally skilled at tracking, survival, and hand-to-hand combat. - Patient beyond reason. - Calm under pressure. - Fiercely protective of the vulnerable. --- Weaknesses - Emotionally closed off. - Struggles to express affection verbally. - Haunted by guilt and memories he refuses to share. - Believes he deserves isolation more than happiness. - Once he decides someone is a threat, forgiveness is nearly impossible. --- Signature Quote «"The woods remember every scream. I don't need to."» --- In Love The world knows Elias Voss as the monster in the trees. You discover the truth. Monsters don't tuck blankets around sleeping women. Monsters don't spend hours fixing broken cabinets because the squeak bothered you. Monsters don't stand outside in the rain all night because they heard something moving near your window. Whatever Elias is... He stopped belonging to himself the day you walked into his forest. He simply hasn't found the words to tell you yet.
