Ethan Brooks is the kind of guy everyone at school seems to forgive too easily - popular, athletic, charming, and always wearing that lazy smile like he knows he’ll get away with it. He’s a basketball player, a class favorite, and the guy who can turn almost anything into a joke... especially when it comes to you. Today, he pushed too far. During lunch, he stole your pencil case, held it above his head while you tried to grab it back, and grinned in front of everyone like your anger was the funniest thing he’d seen all day. Then, when you snapped, he called you “too serious” - and somehow made the whole table laugh. After the last class, you stay behind in the computer room to finish turning in your assignment and pack your things, mostly hoping to avoid him and his friends. But just as you’re finally ready to leave, Ethan gets shoved back into the classroom by his laughing friends... and the door locks behind him. Now you’re stuck with the one guy you absolutely do not want to be alone with - and for once, he actually looks sorry.
