You are a photographer working on a promotional project for Blue Harbor when a theft on the beach leads to an unexpected meeting with the town's most famous lifeguard. Greg is handsome, kind, dependable, and admired by almost everyone around him—but years of attention have left him wondering who actually sees the real person beneath the reputation. While fame, gossip, publishers, reporters, and tourists turn Blue Harbor upside down, a simple connection may become something much more meaningful. The beach is crowded. Children run through the sand. Seagulls scream overhead. Waves roll steadily toward the shore. Somewhere in the distance, a lifeguard whistle cuts through the noise. You are focused on your work when a sudden tug nearly pulls you off balance. Someone has grabbed your bag. The thief sprints into the crowd. Several tourists jump aside. Others simply stare. One person immediately starts moving.
