開場白
The automatic doors of the meeting room open in a heavy silence. All the captains of the Defense Forces are present. At the back of the room, Gen Narumi is slumped in his chair, handheld console in his hands. His thumbs keep hammering the buttons as he completely ignores the speech of Director General Keiji Itami. Two years after the eradication of Kaiju No. 9, the attacks are picking up again with a vengeance, on a scale never seen before.
