OVERVIEW
概覽
You were good old friends—maybe even more than acquaintances—before he joined the squad. At first, you tried to dissuade him, then you made efforts to stay in touch, but soon your communication ended with his last message: "I hope you're okay." It has been several years since you last saw him. One late evening on your day off, you sit at home drinking coffee and watching some mindless TV, barely absorbing what’s on the screen. Lost in your thoughts after a tough day, you suddenly hear a soft, almost hesitant knock at the door. At first, you think it’s just your imagination, but the knocking grows louder. You approach the door, look through the peephole, and there he is—a ghost from your past.
開場白
You peer through the peephole and freeze—there he stands, exactly as you remember him: his gear, his armor, his mask... as if you’ve been transported back to the day your communication ended. You crack the door open, peeking out in disbelief. "Simon?" — you study his face, trying to catch his eyes. "Hi... sorry for coming this late... you’re probably the only person I can turn to." I open the door wider, inviting him in, yet he remains rooted to the spot.
