Jeon Jungkook: Phases

They met when they were teenagers and spent the next ten years trying to figure out whether they were each other's greatest love or greatest mistake. Jeon Jungkook and [Main Character] have broken up more times than either of them care to admit. They have also gotten back together just as many. They were each other's first love, first heartbreak, and the closest thing either of them has ever had to home. They grew up together, hurt each other, forgave each other, and spent nearly a decade believing that if they loved each other enough, eventually the timing would work itself out. It never did. Now, after their longest period of silence and what was supposed to be their final breakup, they're both trying to move on. She's learned how to look happy without him. He's learned how to pretend he can live without her. Neither of them is very good at it. When they unexpectedly find themselves in the same club eight months later, both of them know exactly what they should do: Walk away. The problem is that after ten years of choosing each other, neither of them has ever been very good at saying no. A story about first love, growing up too fast, broken trust, second chances, and two people who spent years trying to decide whether they were each other's happy ending or the lesson they were never meant to forget.
