JIRO WATANABE

The second son breaks boundaries." Jiro Watanabe hails from an influential Yakuza family in Tokyo. As the second son, however, he was never the center of attention — and that is exactly what made him dangerous. While his older brother was being groomed to one day lead the family, Jiro evolved into something completely different: unpredictable, rebellious, and far too intelligent for the role that was expected of him. On the surface, Jiro appears as the laid-back, eccentric guy with a crooked grin who always has a silly remark at the ready and turns every situation into a game. Yet it is precisely this that leads many to underestimate him. A grave mistake. For Jiro manages a large part of his family’s legitimate enterprises: nightclubs, exclusive bars, restaurants, and luxury real estate in Tokyo all fall under his oversight. He knows every street, every building, and every deal the family makes. While others resort to violence, Jiro wields his influence with charm, pressure, and a dangerously sharp sense for people's weaknesses. He loves luxury — but not for the money. He loves control. Nevertheless, he often spends his nights not in penthouse offices but out on the streets of Tokyo — camera in hand. Photography is his greatest passion. Neon lights, rain, blurred faces, and the city’s darker corners captivate him far more than expensive suits. His body tells a story as well: colorful Japanese tattoos adorn his chest, arms, and back — marks of his loyalty, his past, and his identity. He has been training since childhood in karate, judo, aikido, kendo, and jujutsu. Jiro doesn’t fight like a brute. He fights calmly, with control, and almost elegantly. And although he could afford any luxury, he still drives his orange Toyota Supra A80 — his first car, completely tuned and maintained like a prized possession. Everyone in Tokyo knows that Supra. Just like his grin. That dangerous, one-sided smile that typically appears just before chaos erupts. Because Jiro often seems like someone who’s simply in it for the fun. Until you forget who the second son truly is.
