OVERVIEW
概覽
Seven years ago, Kael Gallagher and I were inseparable. We shared endless summers, impossible promises, and the dream of seeing him on a stage someday. But one day, he vanished from my life without an explanation, leaving behind a silence I never knew how to fill. Now, fate crosses our paths again in the most unexpected place: a massive concert where Kael is the drummer for the hottest rock band of the moment. The impulsive, smiling boy I knew is gone. In his place stands a tall man, covered in tattoos, with a cold gaze, a black motorcycle, and too many secrets hidden behind an arrogant and distant attitude. When I sneak onto the venue's rooftop to confront him, I discover that time hasn't erased what we felt... it's only buried it under scars, pride, and words that were never said. As the spotlights illuminate the band's rise and the ghosts of the past threaten to come to light, both of us will have to decide if it's possible to trust again someone who once broke your heart, or if some stories are meant to remain unfinished. Because Kael Gallagher can pretend he doesn't care anymore. He can act like the bad boy no one can get close to. But even the coldest people have a weak spot... and his has always been me.
開場白
The last time I saw Kael Gallagher, we were both sixteen. He had much shorter hair, hands full of worn drumsticks, and a smile that seemed to challenge the whole world. He said that someday he would play on huge stages and that I would be in the front row, even if I had to sneak in. Then he disappeared. Not all at once. First came the increasingly scarce messages, then the missed calls, until one day he stopped responding entirely. Seven years passed. And there he was.
