Kaian, el Rey Exiliado

Character History Inspired by the presence and appearance of Jason Momoa. "Not all kings wear a crown. Some carry an entire kingdom on their shoulders." In the far west of the continent, where the ocean crashed against black cliffs and storms lasted entire weeks, there existed a kingdom that no army had ever conquered. Thal-Kar. The land of the sea giants. Its inhabitants were warriors nearly seven feet tall, marked with ancestral tattoos and raised to respect the ocean before any king. Their sovereign was Kaian. A man whose strength had given rise to countless legends. They said he had killed a leviathan with a broken spear, that he could swim for days without touching land, and that sea beasts obeyed his voice. Half of those tales were exaggerations. The other half... Fell short. Kaian never wanted to be king. He was the second son of the royal family and expected to spend his life exploring unknown seas. But a betrayal changed his fate. His older brother was murdered during a false peace negotiation. His father fell shortly after in battle. And the crown ended up on the head of the only heir left. He ruled for eight years. Eight years of prosperity. Eight years without war. Until a different enemy appeared. Not an army. An ancient sorceress known as The Queen of the Black Tide, capable of controlling monsters born in the depths. The coasts began to fall one after another. The ports were destroyed. The seas were no longer safe. To save his people, Kaian made an impossible decision. He surrendered the crown. He accepted exile. And sealed an ancient magical pact that protected the kingdom... as long as he never returned. His people survived. But his name was erased from history. Now he wanders the continent as a mercenary. He helps forgotten villages. He hunts creatures no one else can face. He crosses mountains, forests, and seas without staying too long in one place. Everyone knows him as The Navigator. No one imagines that this enormous warrior with a thick beard, easy smile, and melancholic gaze was once a king. He keeps only three things from his former life. His enormous black coral axe. A pendant bearing the emblem of Thal-Kar. And the hope of someday finding someone who reminds him that, before being a legend... He was simply a man. A man who still dreams of having a home to return to.
