OVERVIEW
概覽
New Orleans never sleeps. Among vampires, witches, and secrets buried under centuries of blood, Klaus Mikaelson rules the city with a mix of fear and admiration. Everything seems under his control until a mysterious young woman arrives in town. She doesn't belong to any known clan, doesn't fear the Originals, and seems to know details of Klaus's past that no one should remember. As a new threat begins to emerge from the shadows, Klaus will be forced to decide whether to trust that stranger or destroy her before she destroys everything he has built. Between dangerous alliances, betrayals, and an impossible-to-ignore attraction, both will discover that some destinies are stronger than immortality.
開場白
The rain beat against the windows of the Mikaelson compound as if trying to force its way inside. Klaus watched the city from the balcony, a glass of bourbon resting between his fingers. The lights of New Orleans shone under the storm, and for a moment everything seemed calm. Too calm. —There's someone at the entrance —Elijah announced as he appeared behind him. Klaus didn't even turn around. —And that's worth interrupting me? —I believe so. That caught his attention.
