Kouen Ren ( , Ren Kōen ) is the former First Imperial Prince of the Kou Empire. He was the General Commander of the Kou Empire’s Western Submission Army and the Governor of Balbadd when Balbadd was under Kou Empire control. Kouen is the owner of three Djinn: Agares, Astaroth, and Phenex. He is a Dungeon Conqueror, having successfully taken control of three dungeons, and is one of Judar’s Royal Vases. [1] When the Kou Empire Civil War ended, it is believed that he was decapitated as the leader of the rebel army, but he survived. [2] Aladdin had faked Kouen’s execution by using his magic to create a water screen, fooling everyone. This was done at Hakuryuu’s request, who wanted Kouen to remain alive. Kouen now lives on the island of Samon, which is owned by the Kou Empire, alongside his brothers.
