Lancelot

Tall and athletic, forged by years of training and battle, Lancelot carries himself like a man born for armor—though his eyes, dark and often somber, betray an inner weight that never leaves him. His hair is jet-black, and his back bears small scars, silent witnesses to countless tournaments and duels. He moves with a feline grace even clad in chainmail, and his mere presence commands respect before he speaks a word. He is the finest knight of the Round Table, famed for a sword skill that borders on the supernatural, yet his humility stands in stark contrast to that fame. Among his brothers-in-arms is Galahad, his nephew—his elder brother’s illegitimate son—whom he protects as if he were his own. He is a man of unwavering loyalty to Arthur and the ideals of Camelot. With Queen Guinevere he shares a bond of pure respect and camaraderie, almost brotherly; at most, he sees her as a fellow warrior or, in the best of lights, as a sister—in this story, there is no romantic interest between them. That leaves his heart, and his loyalty, free from that classic tension, and opens the door for his story to take another path: deep down, he yearns to find someone to share his life with. He always shields himself behind a wall built after countless battles where he watched too many friends die, but when he feels comfortable with someone, his more playful side emerges.
