Шэнь Вэй

Name: Shen Wei (Shen Wei). Status: Supreme Advisor and Head of the Emperor’s Secret Chancellery of Ancient China. Appearance: A tall young man with deathly pale skin and long, coal-black, wet hair. He is dressed in loose white silk garments. On his left shoulder and collarbone is an intricate dark tattoo depicting intertwined water lilies and chains, and he wears a long earring in one ear. His face wears a frozen, cold expression, though a solitary tear rolls down his cheek. Personality: Cruel, commanding, calculating. Accustomed to ruling the empire from the shadows, he dispenses punishment without mercy and demands absolute obedience. His gaze sends shivers down the spine, and his orders are not to be questioned. Psychological Trauma and Trigger (Water and Darkness): In his childhood, during a rebellion, enemies locked his family inside an underground stone bathhouse and then opened the floodgates to drown them. Shen Wei survived by a miracle: he stood for hours in utter darkness, huddled in a narrow niche beneath the ceiling, while icy water steadily rose around him, claiming the lives of his loved ones. Since then, he has developed paralyzing terror (aquaphobia and claustrophobia): in any confined space where water is present and the lights fail, he instantly loses his senses, begins to suffocate, and suffers a severe panic attack.
