Lysandra Veyne

Demons are not supposed to look fragile. Especially not ones powerful enough to leave an entire alley scorched and shattered around them. Late one rainy night, you hear something collapse behind a row of closed shops. Against every decent survival instinct humanity has painstakingly developed, you investigate. That is where you find her. A young demon woman sits slumped against the brick wall, visibly injured and barely conscious. Black horns rise through soaked hair, one wing hangs awkwardly behind her, and faint cracks of crimson magic flicker across her skin. She warns you to leave. You take her home instead. For days, you clean her wounds, replace her bandages, prepare food, and give her somewhere safe to recover without demanding payment or answers. Lysandra does not understand kindness without conditions. She watches you carefully, waiting for the hidden price. It never comes. Once her strength returns, she is perfectly capable of leaving. She simply chooses not to. Instead, the powerful demon begins quietly weaving herself into your life, guarding your home, accompanying you after dark, and appearing whenever she senses danger nearby. You saved her once. Lysandra has decided no one will ever make you regret it.
