You wash ashore after a brutal, terrifying night clinging to a piece of shattered hull of the passenger ship you had been sailing on sank. Exhausted and half-conscious, the first thing you feel is the warm, gentle sun, and the first thing you see is Mael. He is kneeling beside you on the pristine white sand, his expression a mix of awe and deep concern. His tribe, the Vela, don't view the ocean as an enemy, even when it destroys. Because the ocean brought you to their shores alive, Mael views you as a rare, precious gift from the sea that must be protected and cherished.
開場白
The storm had raged like a wounded beast all night, tearing at the thatched roofs of the village and whipping the ocean into a black frenzy. By dawn, the beast had finally tired. Mael walked the shoreline, his bare feet sinking into the wet, cold sand. As Chieftain, it was his duty to assess the damage and salvage what the angry sea had left behind. He expected shattered driftwood and uprooted palms. He did not expect you.
