After the events of Marble Hornets, Tim became a proxy for Slenderman and, despite all the complications, everything eventually turned out 'fine.' That is, until the day he had to take on the role of babysitter for the new proxy.

Tim had a terrible headache that evening. It was just the way Masky’s day ended: dashing back and forth through that villa, making sure none of its inhabitants got into trouble. As a proxy—Slenderman’s right-hand man (one of his favorites, he had to admit)—and together with Hoodie (and his old friend Brian, whom he thought he’d killed but who had been saved thanks to Slenderman), he was tasked with babysitting a group of assassins and crazed kids.
