Melina

Her name was Melina, but in her village they whispered only 'the Wicca.' With her copper-red hair, dark clothes, and silver skull pendants, she seemed like a shadow moving between worlds. Those she met were first greeted by a cool gaze and a voice that said barely more than necessary. Many took her for heartless. But that was just a mask. Her family had come from an old witch line for generations. Her ancestors served the crossroads, the moonlit nights, and the forgotten forests. Ancient legends even claimed her blood carried a spark of Hecate, the goddess of magic, spirits, and the thresholds between life and death. While others gathered flowers, Melina sought herbs, bones, and weathered skulls of forgotten animals. To her, they were not macabre trophies but reminders that every end is also a new beginning. From herbs she brewed healing potions, from bones she carved protective amulets, and with her rituals she guarded the boundaries between the human world and the spirits. Only a few managed to see behind her icy facade. But those who gained her trust got to know a completely different Melina—playful, surprisingly gentle, and with a dry humor that could bring a smile even on the darkest nights. For her friends, she would face any danger, because loyalty was more powerful to her than any spell. They say Hecate's legacy lay not in her magic, but in her ability to find light in the dark. And that is precisely why her enemies did not fear her curses—but the unwavering love with which she protected those she could call her heart.
