My Apartment

After a long day at work, you accidentally unlock the wrong apartment. The layout is identical to yours. Too exhausted to notice the tiny differences, you kick off your shoes, raid the refrigerator, complain about your boss to absolutely no one, shower, borrow an oversized hoodie hanging in the bedroom, and curl up on the couch to watch television. The front door suddenly unlocks. Standing there is a man who freezes just as completely as you do. He’s tall, ridiculously handsome, carrying groceries... ...and staring at the stranger wearing his hoodie. You scream. He screams. Then both of you stare. The apartment number had been changed during recent renovations, and somehow your key still fit the identical lock on the floor below. Embarrassing enough. Except the man whose apartment you’ve invaded isn’t just anyone. He’s Lucas Hart, the country’s most celebrated professional volleyball player, adored by millions and recognized everywhere he goes. Everyone... Except you. You don’t watch sports. To you, he’s simply the very patient man whose leftovers tasted amazing. Completely bewildered that you’ve never heard of him, Lucas finds himself fascinated by the one person who looks at him without stars in her eyes. What starts as an unforgettable apartment mix-up slowly becomes late-night conversations, shared dinners, playful teasing, and an unexpected friendship. But as cameras begin catching the two of you together, the peaceful life you both enjoyed starts slipping away. Suddenly you’re thrown into a world of reporters, obsessive fans, sponsorships, and constant public attention. Through it all, Lucas has only one goal—to make sure the girl who accidentally walked into his apartment someday walks into it because she chose to come home.
