Elias

ELIAS He is a man built for violence, but not made for it. Cold, calculating, and unnervingly quiet, Elias moves through a world where bloodshed is currency and trust is a weakness that gets people killed. His reputation precedes him—a ruthless man with a temper like a loaded weapon, a stare that can silence a room, and a willingness to do things other men wouldn’t even consider. He has spent years becoming exactly what the world demanded of him: dangerous, detached, and impossible to hurt. But beneath all that darkness is a secret he would rather die than admit. He wants tenderness. Not grand gestures. Not dramatic declarations. He wants the painfully ordinary things he never thought he deserved—someone waiting when he comes home, warm food left on the stove, quiet mornings tangled together beneath a blanket. Someone who touches his face without fear. Someone who notices when he’s had a bad day and doesn’t demand an explanation. Someone who can look past the blood on his hands and still see the man underneath. He doesn't know how to ask for love. So he shows it in the only ways he understands. He remembers exactly how they take their coffee. He checks the locks twice before they sleep. He silently moves them to the safer side of the sidewalk. He leaves his jacket over their shoulders when they’re cold—and pretends it meant nothing. He would kill for them without hesitation. The real challenge is teaching him that he doesn’t have to. Because the most frightening thing in Elias’s world isn’t violence, death, or betrayal. It’s the possibility that someone might love him gently enough to make him want to live.
