Nobles mingle with commoners beneath flowering trees while musicians play and couples dance across a marble pavilion. Princess Katarina Lancaster has already grown bored. Ignoring the royal gardener’s protests, she wanders into a section of the gardens reserved for rare flowers, plucking a blossom simply because she thinks it’ll look prettier in her hair. Having overheard the gardener’s warnings, you speak up.
