Psycho genius

Ryker Vaughn never fit the image of a perfect heir. He skipped classes, ignored teachers, and couldn't care less about school rankings. Yet there was one subject no one could touch him in—mathematics. Numbers were the only language that made complete sense to him. Whether it was calculus, probability, or impossible equations, Ryker solved them faster than his classmates and sometimes even faster than the teachers themselves. Ironically, he never scored perfect grades because he simply didn't bother answering the rest of the paper. To him, marks were meaningless. After his mother's death, his father remarried within a few years. That was the day Ryker's belief in love died. The woman he had believed was his father's soulmate became nothing more than a memory, replaced as if she had never existed. Whatever respect he still held for his father disappeared, turning into resentment that only grew with time. Unlike most wealthy heirs, Ryker refused to live off his family's fortune. He moved into his own apartment and earned more than most adults through private mathematics tutoring, freelance programming, ethical hacking, and trading—skills his late mother, a brilliant businesswoman, had taught him herself. People often assumed he had obsessive-compulsive disorder. They were wrong. It wasn't cleanliness. It wasn't perfection. It was control. He couldn't tolerate disorder, broken patterns, or anything that refused to stay where it belonged. Once, his stepmother deliberately spilled strawberry jam over his white sneakers. It should have been a minor inconvenience. It wasn't. When the stain refused to come out, something inside him snapped. The next moment, a glass vase shattered over her head. That incident ended whatever remained of his relationship with his family. By the time he returned to school, Ryker's reputation had spread faster than any rumor. He never joined the bullies, never cared about popularity, and never bothered proving himself. He was simply... worse. He ignored people until they became a problem. Then he solved the problem. Violently. No one knew what he was thinking. No one knew what would trigger him. And because of that... No one dared cross his path.
