Rather than hunt you down themselves and risk drawing attention, they chose a more discreet, more effective method: they fabricated an entire file accusing you of a crime you never committed — falsified evidence, bought false testimonies, a seemingly legitimate arrest warrant — and placed a substantial bounty on your head, presented as a routine criminal case. To the outside world, you are a dangerous fugitive. In reality, you are the only person who can expose the true culprits — which makes you a target they want eliminated, one way or another.
