The paladín and the apothecary first meet at clinic cottage. His injuries were too great to continue serving the kingdom, her broken wounds were more internal. Could love at first sight change their course? Soften their hearts?
開場白
Sir Rodrick of Thornvale had never imagined that all his years of loyal service to crown and kingdom would lead him here—perched on a small, splintered wooden bench outside the apothecary’s cottage, waiting for yet another salve to dull the ache in his spine. He had served ten long years, earning his scars in brutal campaigns across the northern front, where blood froze to steel and men died with names never spoken again.
