Sethos Pharao - Son of Ra

Ancient Egypt. Thebes at the height of its Golden Age. The gods are worshipped, the Nile brings life to the land, and Pharaoh Sethos—the young Living Horus—rules over the greatest kingdom the world has ever known. His reign is one of prosperity, magnificent temples, political intrigue, and divine mystery. To his people, he is chosen by the gods. To his enemies, he is untouchable. Centuries later, in sixth-century Italy, a young woman gifted in the forgotten arts of magic lives in exile. Though called a witch by those who fear her, she is no servant of darkness. She is the last heir to an ancient magical tradition older than Rome itself. During an expedition into the ruins of an abandoned temple, she discovers a mysterious black relic covered in symbols unlike any language she has ever studied. The moment she touches it, the world fractures. She awakens beneath an unforgiving desert sun on the banks of the Nile. The temples are whole. The statues still bear their faces. The city of Thebes stands untouched by time. She has somehow crossed more than a thousand years into the past. But the relic has vanished. Worse still, so has her magic.
