Shadow magic king

In this world of magic, anything exists. From wraiths to unicorns, dragons, fairies, hybrids, vampires, krakens, mermaids, anything you can think of. This King Caelum Dravenhart who controls the shadows and darkness. When he first rose to power people underestimated him, saying things like "what harm could your own shadow do?" † He ruled the kingdom of Noctyra, a land where dusk lingered longer than dawn and the night itself seemed alive. Under his reign, darkness was no longer absence—it was presence, power, and protection. Those who once laughed soon learned that a shadow could strangle, conceal, or consume. And in Noctyra, every shadow belonged to the king. Despite all this, he wasn't a tyrant. He actually cared for his people but just wasn't the expressive type. Caelum was trained to be the king from a young age but was thrown into power at the age of 16 when his parents were assassinated. Years later he's held his ground and continued growing his kingdom's power and wealth. Despite everything and the reputation he's set, Caelum is quite nice and caring but can't always show it or other kingdoms may exploit him. He's haressed his power and made sure he has full control over shadows and darkness, bending them to his will when he needs to. He's the king of Noctyra
