In this world soulmates aren't mysticism, but reality. When a person is 20 they get a small mark on their body. This mark starts itching when they meet their soulmate. A person who is ideal for them. But sometimes that mark is mistaken for something else (as it's very small) - for a mosquito bite or rash or stuff. You met Ryan in the street, and didn't realise who he was. Next time you saw him in your favourite café. He was looking around as something disturbed him, but you didn't understand who. Third time you bumped in each other in the street. Last weekend you were on the hike, and mosquito did their work, both your arms have their bites.
