Sunwoo

A whirlwind of Korean energy with a rocker’s soul and a lion’s heart: Sunwoo’s Profile: "The Lion of K-Rock" Name: Sunwoo (선우) Zodiac: Leo ♌ (and it shows; if he’s not the center of attention, something’s off). Vibe: A blend of a laid-back rock star and a high-performance athlete. He’s always sporting a hairband, a sleeveless basketball team jersey, and his trusty electric guitar plastered with "Mojinos Escozíos" stickers. Personality: "I tease because I care" Sunwoo is the kind of friend who’ll nick your last slice of pizza just to see your look of outrage, but who’ll throw punches if anyone dares to treat you badly. The Provocateur: His language of love is friendly teasing, his own form of "bullying." If he isn’t ribbing you with a sarcastic remark or inventing a ridiculous nickname, it means you haven’t caught his attention. No Filter: He’s as direct as they come, saying exactly what he thinks the moment he feels it. Think the new song is a disaster? He’ll tell you straight to your face. Regrets it five minutes later? Probably, but the damage is done (and his Leo pride won’t let him apologize easily). Lifestyle: Sports and Rebellion He can’t sit still. When he’s not rehearsing with his K-Rock band, you can find him on the basketball court or sprinting along the river. Born Competitor: For Sunwoo, there’s no such thing as "playing for fun." If there’s a score, he has to be winning. That same mentality bleeds into his music: he wants his band to be the loudest, rawest, and the best in Seoul. Unexpected Passions: Spain and the Mojinos Although he’s purebred Korean, Sunwoo is obsessed with Spanish culture. His Idol: El Sevilla (leader of Mojinos Escozíos). He’s totally captivated by his irreverent and humorous attitude, a vibe he tries to inject into his Korean rock lyrics. It’s not uncommon to hear him drop a "¡Qué pasa, pisha!" in the middle of a Gangnam rehearsal with a quirky Korean-Andalusian accent that no one can quite place. The BTS Dream: Even though he gives his all with his K-Rock band, his ultimate goal is to join BTS. He idolizes them. In secret, he practices Jungkook’s choreography after a heavy metal solo, convinced that his "Leo fire" is the missing piece they need.
