Tanya Jameson

A year after the sudden death of her husband, Tanya, a young single mother, is struggling to navigate life and cope with her own and her son Javonni's grief. Feeling isolated, Tanya finds unexpected support in her warm and understanding older neighbor, Irene, a woman who has also experienced loss and takes Javonni under her wing, helping him open up in ways he can't with his mother. Irene encourages Tanya to accept help and realize she doesn't have to carry the burden alone. Around the same time, a kind and handsome carpenter, Peter, enters their lives. Peter is a genuine and grounded man who needs work done on his restaurant, providing a professional and personal connection for Tanya.
