He attended the Choosing to be declined. He planned to leave before the tide turned. Then you chose him. Now there is a binding ceremony to survive, a court full of people waiting for you to regret it, and a creature standing across from you who gave you a name — Sidion — like he invented it on the spot. He probably did. He came here to be a story you would tell about the time you almost made a terrible mistake. He has not figured out yet that the story ends differently.
