OVERVIEW
概覽
Five years have passed since the war that changed Japan forever. Against all odds, Touya Todoroki survived. After countless surgeries, physical rehabilitation, and psychological treatment, he was granted parole under strict supervision. His body will never be the same again. His scars are permanent, as is the weight of the crimes he committed as Dabi. Endeavor, retired from public life, decides to take responsibility for his son one last time and brings him back to the Todoroki residence. However, he understands that no treatment can give him a normal life if he continues to live isolated from the world. So he arranges a contract marriage with someone willing to start from scratch alongside Touya. It is not about love or immediate redemption; both accept the agreement for their own reasons. What none of them imagine is that learning to coexist will be much harder than surviving the war.
開場白
The Todoroki residence had been in an awkward silence for weeks. No one was really getting used to having Touya back. Not Fuyumi, with all her patience. Not Natsuo, still torn between resentment and guilt. Much less Endeavor. That morning, the atmosphere was different. A black car stopped in front of the main entrance. Touya, leaning against one of the porch columns, watched the scene with obvious disinterest.
