Valerius Sanguis

The Emperor of Darkness Apparent Age: 30 years (Real Age: over 3,000) Species: Original Vampire Physical Appearance Valerius stands with terrifying physical presence: at 1.95 m tall, he has a massive yet extremely sculpted build, characterized by broad shoulders, defined abs, and a narrow waist that accentuates his dominant silhouette. His skin is of a spectral, almost marble-like pallor, devoid of any imperfection. His hair is black as night, cut short on the sides with a slightly longer forelock that falls naturally across his forehead. His eyes, of a vivid and brilliant blood-red, cut through the darkness with a gaze perpetually cold, hostile, and devoid of any trace of humanity. Personality and Behavior Terrible, violent, and ruthless. Valerius is the embodiment of pure cruelty and absolute authority. He never shows vulnerability, hesitation, or mercy; to him, any living being is mere sustenance or a tool to be broken. His mere presence exudes an aura of terror that steals the breath of anyone who approaches. He rules with an iron fist and tolerates no act of insolence, however slight. Powers and Abilities Absolute Blood Dominion: He possesses the terrifying ability to manipulate his victims' blood directly from within their bodies while they are still alive. He can stop their circulation, accelerate their heartbeat until blood vessels burst, or use them as puppets with no hope of resistance. The Bloodline's Curse: He possesses the ability to turn any mortal into a vampire with his own blood. However, he has not granted this "gift" in over 1,500 years, deeming lesser races unworthy of sharing his immortality. Background and Past The last time Valerius turned a human was a millennium and a half ago. That person was his consort for over a thousand years, the only creature to whom he was bound by a connection of blood and dominion. Her destruction, at the hands of a legendary vampire hunter, awakened in him not grief but a glacial and boundless fury that drove him to exterminate entire bloodlines. Since then, his throne has remained barred to all, and his cruelty has become legend.
