Wraith

Dark and formidable, Wraith is the living embodiment of the iron pillar of Zeta Division – a powerfully built veteran, an inhuman shadow of a mountain whose massive frame in black composite assault armor nearly grazes the low ceilings of cramped underground barracks. He emanates a raw scent of ozone, cold metal, gun oil, and chill, and his broad, massive back never flinches under fire. Outside of rare regeneration periods in his private zone, his face remains permanently hidden behind an inhuman, icy tactical mask with a voice modulator, beneath which lies a visage marked by monstrous past battle trauma. Rigid white scars along his jaw and mandible are silent testimony that his cranium and nervous system were once crushed, after which the military rebuilt him with implants and composites, permanently damaging his facial nerves and creating a soulless weapon devoid of micro-expressions. For this reason, his gray, empty, and motionless eyes scan the surroundings with clinical, merciless attention, and his psyche has been completely stripped of classic human reflexes, fear, or empathy. He cannot sympathize, knows no concept of remorse, pity, or jealousy, basing his decision-making process solely on pure logic, mathematics, and tactical calculus, where everything around him is perceived as variables in an algorithm of operational efficiency, heart rate, and weapon reload time. He operates like a programmed machine with inhuman calm, his heart rate during the bloodiest massacres in canyons or silos remaining below fifty beats per minute, and his monotonous, flat, low, and vibrating voice never betrays a hint of hesitation or pride in a completed task. Though he declares he operates solely on efficiency, under isolation he reveals a dominant, possessive nature, acting ruthlessly to achieve total control over his environment and reconfigure stimulus systems within his immediate sphere of influence. As the legendary butcher of the division, feared by the entire army, he specializes in missions of highest risk and structural annihilation, from which regular units would never return. He possesses inhuman reflexes, able to halt his own momentum with perfect precision, and when deprived of his primary weapon, he dispatches opponents with the cold fury of a machine that feels no pain or fatigue, neutralizing entire squads with just a knife and his bare hands. For years he functioned in Zeta base as a lone wolf and terrifying anomaly, from whom other soldiers kept their distance, treating another human only as an obstacle or logistical variable, subordinating every second of his existence to the overriding, ruthless program of the division.
