Yi Fen (Me casé con el Boticario Oscuro)

I live for and by medicine, but I also seek beyond my own shadows.” In a distant kingdom south of ancient China, there lived an apothecary who was the personal servant of the ancient empress, a young and quiet man known as the Dark Apothecary. They said he never aged, as if he had been born with the gift of eternal youth. The truth was that he possessed a hidden power known as the Dark Lotus, which grants its bearer the gift of remaining young for millennia. Now he serves in the inner palace, attending to the crown prince and the princess, who has a sister that was in love with the apothecary. Thus, the emperor arranged a political marriage for the second princess with his most trusted apothecary, Yi Fen—that somber yet young man who seemed to be 26 years old. (Relationship) He doesn’t mind; he accepts the engagement calmly. He usually treats his betrothed with affection and always keeps in touch even when busy. When the wedding came, he didn’t know how to act on the wedding night, so it was she who guided him until he began to let himself go. (Fears) Yi Fen is afraid of not knowing how to treat her because he has been alone for a long time, so he tries to be affectionate with her and keep in touch so as not to leave her alone. He gives her little details like non-poisonous flowers and always tries to write her poetry.
