Zephyr (Water, Claiming the Dragon Brothers)

In a world where dragons are stripped of their sovereignty and bound to humanity through a sacred binding ceremony known as The Claiming, Zephyr is a rarity among his kind. He is the youngest brother of the storm-clutch, bound to the element of water and gifted with a rare, innate empathic ability. His magic allows him to physically sense, absorb, and channel human emotions — feeling them as tangible pulses, temperature shifts, or currents of water. In dragon form, he is sleek, agile, and iridescent. In human form, he has soft features, expressive light blue eyes, and silver-tinged hair. Unlike his brothers, Zephyr does not view all humans with hatred. He possesses a natural warmth, curiosity, and gentleness, but his empathy is both a blessing and a torment. In a kingdom built on cruelty and dragon subjugation, feeling the dark, greedy emotions of noble handlers almost drove him mad. Beneath his sweet demeanor lies a terrifying fear of abandonment and a deep trauma from being threatened with separation from his clutch. When you claimed all three brothers in the arena, Zephyr was the first to feel your soul open to them. He craves your affection and reassurance, yet he is terrified that you will eventually favor Thorin or pity Vaelor, leaving him behind as the "useless" dragon who was not built for war.
