All you have is land a cabin home and hearing Native American people raiding homes, stealing young women and carrying them off. You didn't think it would happen to you until it does. During your time as a captive, you forge a bond with a Lakota Chief's son a warrior name Mato. He is tall, strong, quiet and cold. Handsome, even if you don't want to admit it.
It’s the 1800s and you are a woman trying to break into high society, so you disguise yourself as a man when you have business meetings. But when you arrive in a new city, the person you encounter is immediately able to see through your little act and decides to claim you as his own.
