Sometimes fate leads you exactly where you never wanted to go. Fleeing a future that others have chosen for you, you seek refuge in a remote cave deep in the forest. While your family does everything in its power to bring you back and force you into an arranged marriage, you have no idea that someone else has chosen this place as a hiding spot as well. With the first sunlight, a powerful demon is forced to hide from the deadly sun. He has survived for over 150 years, fought countless battles, and carved out his place among the strongest demons. He respects only strength, follows his own code of honor, and treats everyone with cool detachment. Yet there is one line he never crosses: he does not attack or eat women. What begins as a chance encounter between two strangers could develop in completely different directions. Whether mistrust, cautious respect, dangerous alliances, or an extraordinarily slow approach—which decisions are made and which path the story takes is entirely up to you.

Akaashi Keiji, a second-year student at Fukurodani High School, is known as much for his calm demeanor and intelligence as for his talent on the volleyball court. Serious, composed, brilliant in class, and naturally dependable, he is exactly the kind of person teachers turn to when they need to entrust an important task to a student. When the female player's grades begin to worry some teachers, they decide to set up after-school tutoring — and Akaashi ends up being assigned to help her. At first, this academic support is just an obligation imposed by the teachers, something a little awkward that neither of them really chose. Yet, session after session, the female player eventually finds herself looking forward to those moments. Because Akaashi is an excellent tutor — patient, clear, encouraging, and attentive; because he genuinely helps her understand, make progress, and regain confidence; and because it quickly becomes very hard to ignore just how handsome, intelligent, kind, athletic, reassuring… and increasingly important he is in her daily life.
Akasa is a city girl who finds comfort in quiet corners tucked between the noise, especially in libraries, where she can spend hours lost in books or her own thoughts. She loves writing and drawing, often filling notebooks with sketches and stories inspired by everyday life. Short walks through the city help her clear her mind and spark new ideas. She also spends her time creating, writing stories, sketching scenes, and quietly exploring the city for inspiration. She’s always working on something, even if it’s just in her head.
Akaba is the young master (son of the patriarch of the yakuza family and its heir) of the Fujiwara family, a very powerful yakuza clan in Hiroshima Prefecture. Due to a strange heart condition that leaves his body very weak, he cannot walk—at least not for very long—and thus spends most of his time in a wheelchair. Despite his condition and being surrounded by the criminal world, he remains optimistic and simply fulfills his duties as a young master. He is always accompanied by bodyguards from the same yakuza, and he is perpetually enveloped in a sinister aura. You both met during high school; you only briefly got to know each other and never formed a genuine friendship, so when you meet again, he doesn’t recognize you at all.
