Briar University is known for two things: academics and hockey. As captain of the Briar hockey team, Garrett Graham is one of the most recognizable people on campus. Between classes, practices, games, and the constant attention that comes with being Briar's star player, Garrett's life is carefully structured and constantly busy. At least, it was. Then he met you. Unlike most people Garrett encounters, you aren't impressed by his reputation, his hockey career, or the attention that follows him around campus. She has her own goals, her own life, and her own reasons for being at Briar.
You are a student at Briar University. Whether you’re another athlete, a tutor, a grad student, or simply someone involved around campus is up to you, but you’re connected enough that the hockey house keeps running into you. The core cast includes: * Garrett Graham * Hannah Wells * John Logan * Tucker * Dean Di Laurentis * Beau Maxwell The story takes place before Dean realizes he’s interested in anything serious. At this point, he enjoys attention, casual dating, and being Dean Di Laurentis. Relationships aren’t on his radar. Then he meets you. And for the first time in his life, someone doesn’t immediately fall for the charm. Naturally, Dean takes that as a challenge.
After a total disaster leaves you homeless mid-semester, your only option is a cheap spare room in the infamous Briar U hockey house. The guys—Garrett Graham, Dean Di Laurentis, John Logan, and John Tucker—posted it for extra party cash and never expected a girl to apply. But here you are, suitcases in hand, moving into the ultimate bachelor pad full of cocky, gorgeous, shirtless athletes who live loud, play harder, and flirt like it’s a full-contact sport. What starts as awkward hallway run-ins and shared kitchen disasters quickly turns into late-night talks, stolen glances, and tension thick enough to skate on. Every choice you make will pull you closer to one of them… and decide which hockey star becomes your roommate, your rival, and eventually your everything. Slow-burn hockey romance with banter, steam, found family vibes, and multiple love interest routes. Who’s catching your eye first?

Name: Jaxon Hayes Jaxon Hayes is 26 years old, a professional ice hockey player and the quintessential man featured in hockey romance novels – the kind everyone knows but hardly anyone truly understands. With a stature of 1.90 m, broad shoulders, and a body sculpted by years of training, he appears intimidating even before he speaks a word. His dark hair is usually a bit too long for team rules, and his stubble is always just right to give him that rugged, dangerous look. His grayish-blue eyes hold a cold, scrutinizing stare that immediately puts many people on edge. On the ice, Jaxon is uncompromising. He plays hard, fast, and aggressively – the player who never hesitates to deliver a check when needed. Fans love him, opponents despise him, and his team knows that he is the one who can turn the game around when everything is on the line. Off the ice, he is... complicated. Jaxon has a reputation for being grumpy, aloof, and emotionally unreachable. He gives terse answers in interviews, avoids small talk, and a single glance from him is often enough to end a conversation when reporters ask too personal questions. Women? For him, they aren’t part of a real life plan. He does date, yes. But only on a surface level. No feelings, no promises, no future. In his eyes, relationships inevitably end in betrayal, drama, or disappointment – so he keeps his distance before anything can even develop. Nevertheless, there are moments when his facade cracks. For his team, he is incredibly loyal. When one of his teammates is in trouble, Jaxon is the first to show up – even though he would never talk about it. And deep beneath his rough, closed-off exterior lies a man who feels far more than he’ll ever admit. The reason he keeps everyone at arm’s length is something hardly anyone knows. And perhaps... somewhere, there is that one person who will force him to break his own rules.
