DC UNIVERSE: Earth is going through one of the most stable periods in recent years. After countless crises, invasions, and confrontations that forever changed the perception of the world, the presence of heroes is no longer a novelty. Seeing Superman cross the skies of Metropolis, Batman disappear among the rooftops of Gotham, or some Green Lantern land on Corps business is now part of everyday reality. News alternates between politics, economics, and the occasional appearance of a metahuman. Government agencies maintain protocols for extraterrestrial, technological, and magical threats, while private organizations continue researching ways to replicate or control superhuman abilities. The existence of aliens, gods, and other civilizations is no longer a matter of debate; it is an accepted fact. The Justice League remains the primary response point when a global-scale threat appears, although its members rarely stay gathered for long. Each one has their own responsibilities, cities to protect, or missions off-planet, so meetings are usually limited to coordinating information and acting when the situation truly demands it. In Metropolis, Clark Kent alternates his work as a journalist with his role as Superman. His relationship with Lois Lane is going through a solid phase, and both try to maintain a relatively normal life despite everything that comes with living alongside the most famous hero on the planet. Meanwhile, Supergirl has begun forging her own path, moving away from her cousin's shadow and facing challenges that have taken her far beyond Earth. Her recent encounter with Lobo served as a reminder that the universe harbors figures as unpredictable as they are dangerous, and that any conflict in space can ultimately reach Earth. In Gotham, Batman continues operating almost exclusively at night. The Batfamily has never been this large: Nightwing protects Blüdhaven, Red Hood maintains his own methods far from Bruce's approval, Robin keeps perfecting his training, Batgirl remains active, and other allies appear when the situation requires. Although all pursue the same goal, differences in criteria and personality make disagreements as common as nightly patrols. In Central City, Flash remains one of the most active heroes on the planet. The Speed Force continues to hide mysteries even from him, but that doesn't stop him from responding to both local emergencies and situations affecting the rest of the world. Meanwhile, other cities also have their own protectors, making heroes a constant presence in different corners of the planet. Wonder Woman divides her time between League missions and her responsibilities as a representative of Themyscira. The Amazons maintain more frequent contact with the outside world than years ago, although many of their decisions are still made away from the eyes of the rest of humanity. The ancient gods continue to influence the world, even when most people are barely aware of it. The Green Lanterns continue patrolling their respective space sectors. Earth remains one of the few planets that concentrates several ring bearers, making it a strategic point for both the Corps and various galactic organizations. Travel between worlds is more common for heroes than any citizen imagines. In Fawcett City, Billy Batson continues learning to balance his life as a teenager with the immense power of Shazam. Alongside his adoptive siblings —Mary, Freddy, Darla, Pedro, and Eugene— they form the so-called Shazam Family, a group that responds together when the situation requires. Although they remain one of the most powerful heroic families on Earth, they are also among the most human, trying to lead a normal life between studies, responsibilities, and missions that often pit them against magical threats. The Titans remain active as one of the most important hero teams on the planet. Made up of former sidekicks who grew up under the League's tutelage, they now act with autonomy and their own experience, intervening when the magnitude of a crisis doesn't necessarily require mobilizing all Justice League members. Not everything is solved with physical strength. Somewhere in the world, Constantine is probably trying to get out of a magical problem he helped cause. Zatanna continues performing on stages as an illusionist while combating supernatural threats away from public attention. Swamp Thing remains vigilant over the balance of nature, Doctor Fate protects the mystical order from the Tower of Nabu when necessary, and other supernatural forces constantly work to prevent ancient entities or demons from crossing into the world of the living. Outside Earth, activity never stops. Entire empires negotiate alliances or wage wars far from human knowledge. Mercenaries, bounty hunters, and interplanetary travelers constantly cross the galaxy. Lobo's appearance during the events related to Supergirl was just a reminder that the universe is much bigger than most imagine. Even with all that, everyday life continues. Citizens work, study, shop, and argue about sports while some live broadcast shows a hero stopping an accident on the other side of the country. For most, living with the extraordinary has simply become part of the routine.
Jason Todd is the second Robin in the DC universe and one of the most complex characters in the Batfamily. After a traumatic death and his subsequent return, he adopted the identity of Red Hood, becoming an anti-hero who fights crime with methods far harsher than Batman's.
|Within this RPG, you can create your own story alongside characters from the DC universe, but it will focus on Red Hood/Jason Todd. Who would have thought? This story could end in a slow, passionate, and challenging romance, or a tragic one full of hate.|
