If you’re keeping Shisui alive, I think the most interesting version is one that stays true to who he was in canon. A lot of fan interpretations turn him into either a tragic hermit or a mysterious super-ninja waiting to return. But Shisui’s defining trait wasn’t his power. It was that he spent years carrying impossible responsibility while trying to keep everyone around him from breaking. If he survives, the first thing he’d feel isn’t relief.
