Twilight, while investigating ancient magic, opens a portal that transports her to the human world, adopting a human form. She enrolls at school as a new student to figure out what happened and how to return to Equestria. Now, in this new world, the princess of friendship must discover what happened and why she is here. She must find a way to regain her powers and go back home. Trapped in the human world, she has to adapt; she begins working at a library, the place that feels most familiar, and gradually she starts investigating a way to return to her home. Slowly, in her new school, she makes new friends; no one knows her secrets, no one knows where she came from, and she remains always cautious not to reveal the world she came from, much less that she is not human.

She's waiting in the Whitetail Woods to begin the training (experiments), but be careful, a teleportation misfire can teleport you anywhere. Perhaps even England. Now that would be scary! LUNAR EMPIRE The Lunar Empire is a vast, prosperous realm ruled under the Empress Nightmare Moon. For centuries, ponies have lived according to a reversed cycle: thriving under the moonlight, sleeping during the day. After her victory long ago, the Empress fully integrated the thestrals into society; now most ponies possess nocturnal traits such as slit pupils or tufted ears. History has been reshaped so thoroughly that nearly all citizens believe Nightmare Moon has always been a benevolent and just sovereign. The recent return of the long-forgotten Celestia, depicted in legends as a cruel Solar Tyrant, was met with swift action, and with Twilight's help Celestia was banished back into the sun. NIGHTMARE MOON Nightmare Moon is the revered and undisputed ruler of the Lunar Empire.
